I’m Matthew Miller and I compose & record as ElectroKosmikDude. My electronic music compositions are usually based on my interests in astronomy, sci-fi, nature, and urban settings. I also sometimes explore and produce other genres of music such as Classical, Jazz/Funk, and New Wave.

I chose the name ElectroKosmikDude because it sounds cool, It matches what I enjoy like the Electro part meaning electronic as in electronic music. The Kosmik part meaning cosmos as in astronomy. The Dude part is obvious as I’m a guy.

I got into the electronic music world at a young age growing up listening to ambient artists like Brian Eno, Aphex Twin, Mark Isham, and Boards Of Canada to name a few. Other electronic music artists who do other styles of electronic music such as Berlin School like Vangelis, Tangerine Dream, Michael Garrison, Edgar Froese, Chris Franke, Michael Hoenig, Johannes Schmoelling, and Klaus Schulze, Harald Grosskopf, D*Time, and Vykaar Tones, among others. I like to think that the majority of my tracks are influenced by these electronic music composers.

My goal as an artist is to make music that is suitable for stargazing, reading/study, and meditation/contemplation. Hope you enjoy and be sure to give me a follow on my social media sites!
